i am passionate about two things - reading and tech, so being a librarian is the perfect job for me!

i have over 16 years experience of helping children and young people find something great to read, opening them up to other worlds and other lives

i also provide them with a rich variety of information resources, and the skills to use them effectively and ethically

the isa library website makes the most of our database subscriptions and various web 2.0 tools, providing our community with a variety of reliable quality information resources and promoting reading for pleasure

i worked jointly with our webmaster on this site with consultation from staff and students

batgirl is my 'sidekick' who enables me to promote reading via social networking

every school day she tweets a book recommendation which feeds into her facebook page
